TLT to support Solar Team Great Britain

The Bridgestone World Solar Challenge takes place over 3,022 km from Darwin to Adelaide and is renowned as the world’s toughest and longest competition for solar cars.

The 2017 event marks the 30th anniversary of the World Solar Challenge, and we want to bring the winners trophy back to the UK for the first time in what is set to be the event’s biggest ever running.

TLT is delighted to be supporting Solar Team Great Britain (STGB), a brand new British team, as they design, build and race a solar-powered car across Australia.

To date we have hosted STGB's south west launch, which took place on the 19 January 2017 at our Bristol offices. We are also supporting STGB in relation to a number of legal areas including intellectual property management, corporate structures and protecting innovation.

"We recognise the strategic importance both at a local and national level in supporting cutting edge renewable innovation in Great Britain. We are delighted to be working with STGB and look forward to helping them win a place on the podium," commented Maria Connolly, Head of Energy & Renewables and Real Estate.
