TLT has been shortlisted for the prized Corporate Law Firm of the Year award at the South West Dealmakers Awards for the third year in a row, having won in 2018.
In the last year, TLT’s corporate team advised on some of the most significant deals in the region, including three that have been shortlisted for deal of the year awards.
The MBO of Acquis Insurance Management backed by Dunedin and HSBC has been shortlisted for Deal of the Year, as has Prowrap’s investment from Longacre Group.
In addition, BGF’s £11m follow-on funding into construction equipment dealer, Molson Group, is in the running for Small Deal of the Year.
The TLT corporate team continued to grow across all offices in 2019, including Dan Whitewood joining as legal director in Bristol. It continues to demonstrate its go-to status for mid-market transactions, known for its sector expertise and commitment to client support, with a growing international client base.
Andrew Webber, head of corporate at TLT, says: “We are really pleased to have been shortlisted for this prestigious award for the team and to see our clients recognised for their continued investment in the region last year. The awards demonstrate the strength of the business community we have in the South West and our nomination is a welcome recognition of the hard work and passion of our team.”
The TLT corporate team is ranked as one of the top advisers in the South West by Experian MarketIQ based on the number of deals completed. The team also recently won Corporate Deal of the Year at the 2019 Business Leader Awards and Tech Dealmaker of the Year at the 2019 Go Tech Awards.
