TLT has won a spot on the Government's Crown Commercial Services tier one legal panel, which will last for two years with scope to extend to four.
The 12 strong tier one panel provides a full legal service to a range of public bodies including all ministerial and non-ministerial departments, their associated executive agencies and non-departmental public bodies.
Bill Hull, Head of TLT's Public Sector team and Commercial Services group said:
"This is an important appointment for TLT, with a spot on the Crown Commercial Services panel one of the most coveted positions for any public sector team. It is an incredibly interesting time for the sector and we look forward to using our expertise to support across the full range of legal issues that central government departments and other public bodies face."
TLT's public sector team is led jointly by TLT's Commercial Services Head Bill Hull and Senior Partner Andrew Glynn. The team was recently appointed to the National Legal Services Framework, which supports Elected Police and Crime Commissioners, Police Forces and their partner organisations, GLA functional bodies and Local Authorities.
TLT also acts for the London Boroughs Legal Alliance and the North West Consortium for property, planning and environmental; as well as for local authorities including Cornwall and Oxfordshire.
