National law firm TLT's Bristol office has raised over £10,000 for its charity of the year, Young Carers Bristol & South Gloucestershire.
Every year a team of dedicated TLT employees is tasked with raising over £10,000 for the firm's elected charity of the year. Each member is given a specific role, maximising their individual expertise to make sure that the best results are achieved for the charity.
This year saw a team of 11 TLT employees smash their target of £10,000. They organised a wide range of events, including, yoga classes, a cheese and wine tasting night, various dress down days, a Christmas fayre, themed quizzes and a Zumbathon. Other activities included associate Harry Parker and partner Ben Watson from TLT's Employment group cycling over 147 miles from Paris to Roubaix, raising nearly £600.
TLT's Senior Partner, Robert Bourns says, "TLT is committed to making a difference and we are delighted with the total TLT has raised for this fantastic charity. The TLT team worked closely with the charity to deliver above and beyond initial targets set and in doing so raised over £10,000, helping young carers across the region."
The TLT team were Sian Davies, Emily Dunford, Gareth Cumming, Liera Dale, Kath McEvoy, Alex Larvin, Sarah Rees-Leonard, Lizzie Stone, Catherine Tippett, Jenny Tugman and Sarah Watson.
