TLT has strengthened its national Employment team with the hire of London based partner, Mark McQuillan. Mark joins from Michael Simkins where he headed up the Employment team. He was previously a partner at Addleshaw Goddard's London office.
Mark is the fourth new employment partner hire for the firm in just six months. Other hires include Esther Smith in Bristol from Thomas Eggar, Ed Cotton in Manchester from Irwin Mitchell and Jonathan Rennie in Scotland from DLA Piper.
With strength in sectors including Retail & Consumer Goods and Financial Services, Mark's arrival is part of the firm's focus on building expertise that will help support clients in its focus sectors. His arrival also adds to the firm's London office where further growth in revenue and people is anticipated in the coming financial year.
Stuart McBride, partner and Head of TLT's Employment, Pensions & Incentives Group said:
“Mark is a great fit for TLT. His arrival means we have true national coverage of employment expertise and a solid base in London.
"We're very clear on our strategy to build on our market leading position in the south west, across the UK. Mark's arrival is a significant step forward to achieving that."
Mark McQuillan, Employment partner at TLT said:
"I'm looking forward to working with TLT to build further the support it offers businesses and senior executives. I am delighted to be joining at what is an exciting time for the firm in general and the employment group in particular."
Mark advises listed companies, Fortune 500 companies and smaller owner-managed businesses on the full range of employment issues. He has particular expertise in sensitive and high value litigation, restructurings, outsourcings and employment change programmes.
