National law firm TLT is embarking on an expansion programme in Scotland. The firm is growing its presence in Edinburgh by moving into a larger office and is looking to double the size of its team. Later this year TLT also plans to significantly expand its Glasgow office as the firm continues to invest in Scotland.
TLT, a full-service commercial firm, also has offices in Bristol, London, Manchester and Belfast. It merged with Glasgow-based Anderson Fyfe in 2012 to boost its financial services sector offering and has continued to grow its Scottish presence to work both north and south of the border.
The new Edinburgh office, which is based on Hanover Street, opens on 22 August and the firm is actively recruiting and hopes to double the size of its team in Edinburgh in the coming months.
Tom McEntegart, the head of TLT’s Scottish practice, says, “The Scottish legal market has seen significant upheaval and mergers in recent years. At TLT we see lots of potential for development and now is an ideal time for us to grow and strengthen our presence in key sectors such as financial services, renewables, leisure and retail.
“We are very keen to recruit and are looking for innovative, motivated individuals to help TLT expand its presence in Scotland and develop our national service lines.”
Clients have voted TLT the best UK law firm for client service in Legal Week's independently researched Client Satisfaction Report 2012. TLT has also been named National Firm of the Year at the Legal Business Awards 2013 and Best Managed Firm and won Best Community Engagement at this year's Managing Partners' Forum Awards.
