TLT advises on subterranean salad farm in underground tube station

The shelter will grow eco-friendly salad, creating a 2.5 acre subterranean kitchen garden beneath the Northern Line. The produce branded 'Growing Underground' has been approved by celebrity chef Michel Roux Jnr who is also an non-executive director with Neil Sanderson, the MD of salad giant Florette. Full scale production will begin in March this year.

Steven Dring said, "Working with TLT has made complex contractual negotiations with Transport for London and formulating articles and a shareholders agreement for crowdfunding a pleasure, never thought I'd say that about a legal firm. As an entrepreneur you have to bring in people with the expertise to provide the advice you need and TLT translated these complexities into a language anyone could understand."

The TLT team included David Hobbs, a Commercial Property solicitor, Ben Tarrant, a Commercial Property partner, Andrew Webber, a Corporate partner, Jon Gill, a Corporate associate and Jack Wolton, a Corporate solicitor.
