National law firm TLT has advised The Co-operative Group in relation to its 20MW ten wind turbine project at Biggleswade Bedfordshire which is to be financed by the provision of a multi-million pound loan facility from The Co-operative Bank.
TLT advised on the debt financing, real estate, construction, and power purchase arrangements of the wind farm, which will power 18,000 homes and save approximately 36,800 tonnes of CO2 per year.

The project is a joint venture between The Co-operative Group Limited and the Ventus Funds, managed by Temporis Capital LLP.
