TLT has advised Woods Consolidated, the holding company of leading charity services provider Woods Group, on its acquisition of Valldata to form the most complete end-to-end charity fundraising services supplier in the UK.
With 45 years' combined experience servicing not-for-profit organisations including RSPB, RNIB, Macmillan and Cancer Research, the two Wiltshire-based companies bring together complimentary services and will benefit from logistical and efficiency benefits to respond to a developing fundraising environment.
Woods Group is best known for its strengths in charity raffles, lotteries, print production and payment processing, and Valldata for fulfilment, payment processing and specialist response handling. The two companies will continue to operate as independent brands. The acquisition is effective from 1 September 2017 and sees Valldata acquired from the VRD Group, which streamlined and strengthened the company since its buy out in May 2016.
The team at TLT included Andrew Webber, Nicole Spurling, Emma Davies, Jon Stewart, Samuel Hill and Natalie Wright.
Ian Scarr, managing director of Woods Group and the new CEO of Valldata, comments: "Joining Valldata with Woods Group is an extremely positive move for all parties involved. Andrew and the team at TLT did a great job once again to support us and we look forward to working with them as we continue to build the combined business and move to our new headquarters next year."
Andrew Webber, partner at TLT, comments: "The not-for-profit sector is always on the lookout for ways to maximise efficiency and benefit from best practice, so bringing all of these services under one roof will deliver yet further benefits to Valldata and Woods' clients at a time when they need it more than ever.
"We are pleased to be able to continue to support Woods Group as the business continues to go from strength to strength."
