National law firm TLT has appointed Simon Williams to join the firm's 21-strong renewables team, strengthening and enhancing the firm's sector expertise. Simon will be based in the firm's Glasgow office.
Simon, who is both English and Scottish qualified, joins from Lafarge UK Services Limited, where he advised on a number of renewables deals including onshore wind, solar, biomass and anaerobic digestion projects. Recently he led a project to develop one of the UK’s first geothermal electricity power generating stations in the North East of England. He has over ten years' commercial, planning and real estate experience advising on transactions throughout the UK.
