TLT’s Sarah Green has been awarded the Bristol Law Society’s 'CSR Individual of the Year'.
Sarah demonstrated to the judges her continued commitment to supporting causes in the region. She supports a variety of initiatives, many of which help students who are studying to become solicitors. She works with the University of Law in Bristol, providing mentoring support to students to assist with their studies. Sarah is also involved with the ‘Survive Clinic’ providing supervision to students who take part in the Family Law Email Advice Line. This service is set up to ensure that people can access free family advice.
She is also a key individual in the firm’s Ablaze mentoring scheme, which aims to increase self confidence, belief and aspiration of young people at secondary school.
TLT’s Robert Bourns said:
"I’m so pleased that Sarah’s passion and drive to make a difference to the community within which we live and work has been recognised. Her tireless efforts and continued contribution to protect children and vulnerable adults is admirable.
"As a firm we take our role in the communities, within which we work seriously, both as an employer and a business. We believe that our people can have the greatest impact if we help them to support the issues that they feel most passionate about. Congratulations to Sarah."
The awards were held on Thursday 23 October at Bristol Marriott City Centre Hotel.
