TLT has appointed Richard Turnbull as a real estate partner. He will work out of the firm's Glasgow and Edinburgh offices.
Richard regularly advises on land assembly issues, title and property due diligence, securing options to lease, access agreements, project acquisitions and project disposals.
He specialises in the property aspects of energy transactions, with experience in onshore and offshore wind, wave and tidal, biomass, solar, hydro and energy from waste developments having acted for developers, landowners and funders. Richard is qualified in Scotland and England & Wales.

TLT's Real Estate Group acts for a variety of clients including WHSmith, BBC and Punch. The team has recently advised The Co-operative Group on the development of a 28.7MW 14 turbine wind farm and advised Ecotricity on the refinancing of its existing portfolio of wind and solar projects, raising just short of £70 million to accelerate the development of its pipeline of renewables projects across the UK.
