National law firm TLT strengthens its pensions team with the appointment of James Dean as a partner.
With over 10 years of pensions advisory experience, James joins TLT's Bristol office from Osborne Clarke's pensions practice. In his previous role he provided legal advice to trustees and employers about a wide range of pensions matters, including outsourcing from the public sector, closing defined benefit pension schemes to the future accrual of benefits and managing pension liabilities.
Sasha Butterworth, partner and head of pensions at TLT says, "James is a significant addition to TLT's growing pensions team and will help continue to deliver our first-rate offering to clients with his considerable specialist expertise."
TLT's pensions team is on the cutting edge of pensions law and attributes its success to its high level of client contact as well as driving new innovations in the sector such as TLT's pensions extranet, which has been recognised by the Financial Times in its Innovative Lawyers Report. The team includes a number of independently recognised experts in pensions law.
TLT is a full-service commercial law firm employing over 700 people. TLT is known for its innovative approach to delivering legal services and has been recognised by the Financial Times as one of Europe's most innovative law firms for four consecutive years.
