The Metropolitan Police Service has re-appointed TLT to its national legal services framework panel (NLSF) following a competitive tender process. The appointment is for four years.
The national legal services framework was divided into four lots. TLT was appointed to the following: Lot One - Procurement, Contract and Commercial, Governance; and Lot Four - Commercial, Residential Property and PFI.
The framework was set up on behalf of all police forces in England and Wales and their partner agencies, the GLA functional bodies, and selected local authorities.
TLT have worked with blue light services for 20 years, and have dedicated teams with expertise to advise a range of projects and issues.
More recently, TLT successively advised the Metropolitan Police in its high-profile Supreme Court appeal to limit compensation payments following looting and arson during the 2011 London riots. The ruling was estimated to have saved the taxpayer upwards of £80 million.
