TLT continues to grow its Manchester office with the arrival of a five-strong corporate and commercial team from Millbank Edge. The team includes corporate partners Ian Roberts and Andrew Needham, and commercial partner Pauline Cowie along with associate Rachel Westwell and solicitor Sam Jones. They will be based in the firm’s Manchester office.

We have built an 80+ strong Manchester team from a standing start in just over two years. This is a major achievement in a competitive market for talent and shows the firm's investment in and commitment to growth in the city.

Both Ian and Andrew have extensive experience advising companies on a wide range of corporate finance and commercial transactions. Andrew was previously a partner at Addleshaws and led DWF's corporate and commercial team. They join existing Manchester corporate partners Jon Close and Stephen Devlin, who have advised on a number of recent deals including for the likes of Boohoo and Matalan.
Pauline advises on the full range of complex commercial, intellectual property and information technology contracts, she joins existing Manchester based commercial partners Stuart Campbell and David Gardner, and TLT’s wider 170+ strong UK commercial group working with Manchester-based businesses including Boohoo.com and The Co-operative Group.
The arrival of the Millbank Edge team comes on the back of two new senior summer arrivals in the Manchester corporate team including legal director, Elizabeth Delaney from DWF and associate, Kelly Harvey from Shoosmiths. Other recent recruits include banking partner Martin March, legal directors Matthew Forrest; and associates Helen Daley, Hannah Wightman.
