TLT has secured a new premises licence for L'Oscar, an exclusive 5* boutique hotel opening in Holborn early next year.
The building is a Grade II listed former Baptist Church headquarters and Chapel, which will accommodate 39 rooms, bars, spa, gym, conference facilities and a restaurant run by Michelin starred chef, Tony Fleming.
The TLT team included licensing partner Julian Skeens and licensing solicitor Luke Elford.
TLT's Julian Skeens said: "We managed to get the licence granted without the need for a hearing – a great result for our client especially as the hotel's location is on the cusp of Camden's cumulative impact zone."
Michael Voigt, L’Oscar General Manager, said: "A challenging process of getting our premises license for L’oscar was facilitated in a very professional and efficient manner by Luke and Julian giving guidance and direction throughout. I am grateful for the advice and we achieved the desired result on all levels."
TLT advises clients, such as national and international hotel investors, owners, developers,
financiers and operators, on all aspects of the life cycle of hotels. This is from site acquisition, development and financing, through management, operation and licensing to day to day operational matters and any future redevelopment, refurbishment and or sale of a hotel asset or business.
