National law firm TLT has been named as one of the top providers of IT for staff and clients in the legal industry in Legal Week magazine's IT Report 2011.
The firm was ranked tenth overall in the survey which included competition from top 100 law firms in the UK and the top 20 international firms based in London.
Legal Week, one of the UK's leading legal weeklies, produced the report based on feedback from nearly 5,000 respondents, including partners, qualified lawyers and trainee solicitors.
Respondents were asked their opinions on how effective their firm's IT offering is in terms of helping them in their working lives in categories including security, reliability and client feedback on systems.
The report praised TLT for "clearly focusing on looking after its clients" and achieving five times the growth registered by the average law firm in the software and tools category. TLT also received high marks for client care; information management; and its use of BlackBerry smartphones.
TLT's IT director Graham Sankey says, "Providing staff with quality IT services is essential to being able to deliver seamless legal services to our clients in what is a fiercely competitive market. I'm delighted that TLT has received a Best Legal Technology accreditation. We will continue to invest in our IT services in order to deliver the best service possible to our clients."
