Permitted development rights have been part of the developer’s tool box for many years. Over time these rights have become more far reaching and reliance upon them has become increasingly more involved, culminating in this summer’s most radical change yet. Together with the introduction of planning use class E, these changes have just survived a judicial review challenge.
