Laura is experienced in advising on a range of issues arising out of retail and commercial banking and recovery disputes.
Laura advises on the appointment on fixed charge receivers and contentious issues arising out of their appointments. She advises a number of banking clients and financial institutions on issues relating to account closures and injunctions arising from this.
With experience in dealing with discrimination claims brought pursuant to the Equality Act 2010, Laura also has experience in advising on issues relating to pensions, overpayments and unjust enrichment claims.
She has developed a specialism for advising banking clients in relation to financial crime including payment fraud scams (authorised and unauthorised payments).
Laura has undertaken a secondment within the legal team of a high street bank and has recently undertaken a six month secondment within a retail bank.
Laura joined TLT in 2011 and trained with the firm, becoming an associate in 2017.
