Kate advises on all aspects of contentious and non-contentious employment law, including redundancies, reorganisations and significant contract change programmes.
She has a particular expertise in Employment Tribunal litigation, having advised employers on high value and complex claims at Employment Tribunal and Employment Appeal Tribunal level.
Kate trained at TLT, qualified in 2008 and became an associate in 2012.

Jurisdiction: England and Wales
- Advising a Respondent on a high value and high risk (from a reputational/PR perspective) discrimination claim brought by a claimant who was still employed by the Respondent and suffered with serious mental ill-health issues.
- Advising on a large scale contract change process in respect of a closure of a final salary pension scheme, working closing with TLT's pensions team.
- Advising on a significant equal pay claim, which included extensive negotiation on public sector job descriptions and evaluations.
- Advising on and attending both judicial and private mediations within the context of employment litigation.
