Harriet qualified in 2016 and is an associate in the Projects, Infrastructure and Construction team working with clients on contentious and non-contentious construction law matters.
Harriet’s expertise includes acting for developers and main contractors in the commercial, public and housing sectors and she also provides support on the construction aspects of corporate and banking deals. She provides advice at all stages of a development and enjoys working with clients to find pragmatic solutions to achieve their particular goals.
Jurisdiction: England & Wales
- providing advice to various commercial developer clients across a range of building projects, including projects which involve multiple building contracts and interface between adjacent developments;
- drafting template construction documents (including building contracts and appointments) for housing association, main contractor and developer clients;
- providing advice and support to a number of clients in connection to various contentious matters, including in relation to claims against employers, main contractors, professional consultants and insurance backed warranty providers;
- advising a local authority in relation to contracts that have been awarded as part of public procurement.
