Agata is an associate in the Competition team and specialises in competition law investigations and associated aspects of Financial Services Regulation. She was involved in the first Competition Act 1998 investigations in financial services and payment systems led by the UK concurrent regulators, the FCA and the Payment Systems Regulator.
Prior to the FCA, Agata held roles in magic and silver circle law firms as well as in-house roles at major financial institutions

- Running the first FCA Competition Act 1998 investigation involving the sharing of confidential information on prices in relation to IPOs and placing which led to the issuance of the FCA Infringement Decision to three asset management firms in February 2019;
- Conducting dawn raids in a FCA case involving the sharing of confidential information between several companies active in the civil aviation insurance sector;
- FCA market studies and market reviews, such as the Asset Management Market Study; and
- Assisting the Payment Systems Regulator in its first Competition Act 1998 investigation. This included, among others, participation in PSR dawn raids in February 2018;
