TLT & Sayer Vincent Charity Law Seminar

TLT, in conjunction with Sayer Vincent, is hosting a seminar which will examine changes introduced under the Charities Act 2006 as well as those which have already, or are due to come into effect in Autumn 2008, under the Companies Act 2006. This will focus particularly on the changes to governance of charities and annual reporting.

The seminar aims to review these changes, and their effects, in order that you can assess any changes necessary to make your constitution or procedures fully compliant, and to make use of any relaxations to the administrative procedures which are introduced under this legislation.

Topics covered during the course of the seminar will include:

• Reporting on public benefit
• Directors duties
• Managing conflicts of interest

This seminar is aimed at senior management and all those with responsibility for corporate governance and finance.

The speakers will be Nicole Little, partner - TLT LLP and Kate Sayer, partner - Sayer Vincent.
