TLT Scotland Ltd is a limited company registered in Scotland number 423249 whose registered office is at 140 West George Street Glasgow G2 2HG. A list of directors can be found at any TLT office. TLT Scotland Ltd is authorised and regulated by the Law Society of Scotland and is a subsidary of TLT LLP. A link to these pages can be found on the right.

TLT NI LLP is a limited liability partnership registered in Northern Ireland number NC000856 whose registered office is at Scottish Provident Building, 7 Donegall Square West, Belfast BT1 6JH Northern Ireland. A list of members will be found on their letterheads and at the registered Office. TLT NI LLP is authorised and regulated by the Law Society of Northern Ireland under No 9330. 'Partner' means a member of TLT LLP wherever it is used on this site, or in any publications and correspondence or in the context of providing services to you. Call recording 

Some of our work is regulated by the Financial Services Authority as well as the Solicitors Regulation Authority and they require that we record our telephone calls for certain transactions dealt with by the firm. We also record all calls dealt with by the Risk & Compliance team who handle our complaints. This is so that we can use the calls for training. If we use a recording for training purposes, we will do everything we can to ensure that individuals are not identifiable from the call.

Financial Services

General insurance 

TLT is not regulated by the Financial Services Authority ('the FSA'). However, we are included on the register maintained by the FSA so that we can carry on insurance mediation activity (broadly, the advising on, selling and administration of insurance contracts). This part of our business, including arrangements for complaints or redress if something goes wrong, is regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. The Register can be inspected at the FSA's website.

Investments 

TLT is not authorised under the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 but we are able in certain circumstances to offer a limited range of investments services to clients because we are regulated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We can provide these investment services if they are an incidental part of the professional services that we have been engaged to provide.
