Bill is head of the Commercial Services group at TLT and leads the firm's Green Deal team. He is a commercial advisor who specialises in merger control, competition and state aid.

As well as being recognised for his skill as an adviser to the UK Government and Scottish Executive on significant funding programmes run by the Energy Saving Trust, Bill assists the firm's public sector clients (including local authorities, housing associations, police authorities and universities) on state aid and procurement law.

Bill is independently recognised as an expert in the field of Competition/European Law by Chambers UK, a guide to the legal profession, and is recommended as a leading individual by Legal 500.

He qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and joined the firm in 1997.
