Alison is head of the Family team at TLT. She joined the team in 1994 and was made a partner in 2001. She is recognised by Legal 500 2007 as "one of the 'most senior, able and respected solicitors on the circuit' and a specialist in cohabitation law."

Alison has been a frequent contributor to BBC local radio legal phone-ins and sits on the national Resolution Standards Committee and continues to be an active member of Bristol Resolution (Solicitors Family Law Association).

Alison's particular areas of expertise are financial and business matters in divorce but she also has a niche specialism in the area in advising unmarried couples. Alison has lectured locally and nationally for Central Law Training (CLT) on this issue. She is a contributor to Butterworths Encyclopaedia of Family Law.
