Kate is an associate in the Commercial Dispute Resolution team and has experience in a wide variety of commercial litigation. She regularly advises clients in the High Court and Court of Appeal on breach of contract, professional negligence, pensions litigation and director/shareholder claims. She has also recently worked on a successful appeal to the Supreme Court in a multi-million pound dispute.
During her career Kate has handled a range of commercial disputes including procurement challenges, commercial agency, restrictive covenants, partnership matters and sale and supply of goods, and often advises on defamation and reputation management. Kate is also experienced in alternative dispute resolution process, having participated in a number of both domestic and cross-jurisdiction arbitrations held under ICC, LCIA and GAFTA rules. Kate regularly mediates disputes, achieving successful commercial settlements for her clients. Kate has a first class degree in law from Lincoln College, Oxford, and joined TLT as a trainee in 2010, qualifying in 2012.
