Emily is an Associate in the Financial Services Disputes and Investigations team, specialising in both non-contentious and contentious financial services regulatory work.
Emily acts for a variety of financial institutions, including banks, building societies, debt purchasers, loan servicers, payment service providers and consumer and mortgage finance firms.
Emily's specialisms include advising clients on consumer credit and mortgage lending documentation; remediation projects; reviewing lending products and documentation for fairness; policy compliance with regulatory regimes; due diligence on regulated businesses ahead of acquisitions/disposals or IPOs; gaining FCA authorisation for regulated activities, and acting for interested parties in judicial review applications of decisions of the Financial Ombudsman Service.
Emily is a contributing editor to Butterworths Financial Regulation Service and is also a contributor to Practical Law's payment services, mortgages and consumer credit resources.
