TLT is expanding its employment, pensions and incentives group with the appointment of partner Paula Cole to its Manchester office.
Paula joins TLT from Squire Patton Boggs.
Paula advises on all areas of contentious and non-contentious employment law, with particular expertise in large scale restructuring and reorganisation projects, employment tribunal claims, harassment cases and equal pay issues.
Ranked as a leading individual in Chambers UK and Legal 500, Paula has in previous roles been responsible for the set-up of Garrett Andersen Legal's Manchester office and the leadership of DAC Beachcroft's national employment and pensions group.
Stuart McBride, head of TLT's employment, pensions and incentives group, said: "Employment law is increasingly a board level, reputational issue for organisations; whether that’s managing changes in working practices like the gig economy or dealing with regulatory requirements and reputational issues around gender pay, harassment or the national minimum wage. Paula's experience will add further weight to our UK team and the support we can offer our clients in the fast-evolving and often contentious area of employment law."
Paula Cole, employment partner at TLT, said: "TLT's ambition and real focus on delivering for clients is an attractive proposition. With over twenty years' experience as an employment law partner, I hope to add further expertise to this strong UK team and the support they can offer organisations at all stages in their lifecycle."
Led by Stuart McBride, TLT's UK employment, pensions and incentives group is ranked Tier One by Legal 500, serving clients from six offices across the UK. TLT hit revenues of £74.6 million in the last financial year and employs over 1,000 people across the UK including 118 partners.
