This dedicated team, led by Julia Lucas, takes a problem solving approach to handling contentious property issues, as well as minimising risk by advising and working with clients to avoid potential problems. Clients include commercial occupiers, institutional landlords, retail landlords and tenants, property developers, investors and public sector bodies. Clients’ wider corporate objectives are always borne in mind to enable us to achieve the most commercially advantageous result.

As part of our property management services we work in partnership with client teams to develop ‘best practice’ in support of their portfolio strategy.

The range of work is wide and varied and includes enforcement of covenants, collection of rent arrears, possession actions, landlords consents, break options, rent reviews, dilapidations, enforcement of securities, service charge, restrictive covenants, lease renewals, title issues, easements, nuisance, unauthorised occupiers, breach of contract, professional negligence claims against property advisers and disputes relating to the acquisition, disposal and development of property.

The team works closely with the Licensing team in support of the firm’s Leisure sector expertise.
