Mediation
Mediation can play a vital part in resolving most types of disputes, whilst frequently preserving the commercial or other relationship between the parties. It is an alternative to traditional litigation, where a specially trained “neutral” (the mediator) helps the parties reach a voluntary, without prejudice settlement quickly, amicably and cost effectively; usually on a fixed fee basis.Our mediation team are all trained solicitor mediators and we are accredited to mediate all types of commercial and civil disputes,as well as represent clients in mediations.
TLT is a member of the specialist mediation service provider - the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Group. This is a national group established by lawyers and businessmen to provide in this country and throughout Europe, a quick and inexpensive means of resolving disputes without the need to resort to court. The ADR Group has identified Bristol as a “Centre for Excellence” in the mediation field.
