Group/Team Structure:
Facilities are responsible for the smooth running of many of the day to day activities for all the teams within TLT.
The Role:
To provide an efficient delivery and collection service of all internal and external mail and process incoming and outgoing post. Also provide assistance with other duties associated with the Facilities team as required.
Key Tasks and Duties:
Provide an efficient and prompt post delivery andcollection service to all TLT employees at designated times throughout the day and as required.
Sort, collect and distribute all incoming and outgoing mail and ad-hoc deliveries.
Maintain the franking machine (updating credit, reporting faults, ordering supplies etc.)
Check regularly for incoming faxes and distribute as appropriate.
Maintain post distribution lists.
Process all incoming and outgoing recorded and special deliveries.
Disposal of waste using the compactor.
Monitor the confidential waste bins and empty as appropriate.
To assist with furniture moves.
Undertake hand deliveries and daily visits to the bank.
To work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations at all times.
To assist the team with other duties as and when required.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
Good time keeping and punctual at all times.
High level of customer service and the ability to deal professionally with internal clients, at all levels, face to face and on the telephone.
Accuracy and attention to detail
Able to organise and prioritise own work
Flexible approach with capacity to take on a variety of tasks
Team working
Manual handling skills to be able to lift heavy loads
Mature approach
Ability to develop new ideas and ways of working
