Group/Team Structure:
The Incentives Team offers advice to employers and individuals on all matters related to employee share schemes, bonus arrangements and employee tax. It is part of TLT's Employment Group and has strong links to TLT's Commercial Services Group.
The team was established in November 2006 and is committed to offering a first class employee incentives service to clients. A successful applicant can expect to be provided with excellent technical training within a friendly and approachable team environment.
The Role:
To assist Ben Watson, who leads the Incentives Team, and help the further development of TLT's practice in this area. You will be working directly with clients (ranging from start-ups to the full list plcs) and also closely with TLT's employment team and commercial services group.
Key Tasks and Duties:
Advising employers on the design, implementation and operation of all types of employee share schemes
Advising on bonus arrangements and employee tax matters
Corporate support
Drafting of articles for clients and the trade press
Assisting in the marketing and development of the Incentives practice
Managing client relationships
Cross-selling to other TLT clients
Working in partnership with other TLT teams - Commercial, Banking, Employment and Private Business.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
NQ-2 year's experience
Based in Bristol
A good knowledge of incentives, corporate and employment law
Strong technical skills in employment related tax matters
Good drafting skills
Enthusiasm and of a personable nature
Enjoy a challenging and varied role
