Training Contracts

TLT's commitment to excellence will ensure that you benefit from a well-developed and challenging training programme.

We take on a limited number of trainees each year in March and September. The small number of trainees means that at any one time there is usually only one trainee in each team and the trainee will receive the best experience the team can offer.

From the outset you will find yourself well supported, with regular Partner contact and a designated Trainee Supervisor. The firm is all open plan which aids communication and team work. All trainees sit in teams with other lawyers and work may be drawn from various parts of the team giving the trainee the widest experience possible. Regular review meetings go hand in hand with comprehensive technical and skills training.

Training is delivered through four seats of six months' duration administered by the Training Partner and the Trainee Supervisor. Wherever possible, the seats are settled in consultation with the trainee.
