Financial Assistance For Trainees
For all trainees accepting training contracts at TLT commencing from September 2003 onwards, TLT will pay a sum of £10,000 to cover fees for the LPC and maintenance on commencement of the LPC course.
The firm does not provide separate funding towards the CPE course or other equivalent courses.
In order to ensure this sum is paid in the most tax efficient manner the firm reserves the right to pay the fees directly to the college or any other way that will mitigate the tax consequences for you or the firm.
The only circumstances under which this sum is repayable are:
- You do not complete and pass the LPC
- You do not take up and complete the training contact
- In the event that we wish to continue to employ you following qualification you decide not to accept our offer
- You resign from the firm or the firm terminates your employment (except for reason of redundancy) within 18 months after qualification.
