Launch of TLT Scotland Ltd

The creation of TLT Scotland Ltd gives the capability to deliver legal advice from offices in all three UK legal jurisdictions – England and Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland. TLT LLP, TLT Scotland Ltd and TLT NI LLP (a separate practice) all operate under the TLT brand and are together known as "TLT". 

The merger with Anderson Fyfe has been driven by feedback from strategically important clients in the financial services sector seeking an efficient, seamless approach to the supply of litigation services across the UK.

The merger is intended to strengthen client relationships, deliver enhanced service and value, and enable clients to achieve operational efficiencies.

Both Anderson Fyfe and TLT have a strong focus on the financial services sector and have in common a number of financial services clients, all of whom have welcomed the plans.

TLT's clients include the major UK lenders and many international banks. Anderson Fyfe has a similar focus on financial services and is very successful in its primary niche area – financial services recoveries work – for which the firm is ranked in tier 1 within the Scottish market in the Legal 500 legal guide.

All Anderson Fyfe's employees have joined TLT Scotland Ltd and Anderson Fyfe's Managing Partner, Tom McEntegart, is TLT's Operational Managing Director for Scotland. Anderson Fyfe's eight partners - Brian Armour, Tom McEntegart, Kenneth Meldrum, Fiona Mundy, Alan Munro, Anthony Reynolds, John Paul Sheridan and Kenneth Watt - are now directors of TLT Scotland Ltd. (Directors due to the firm's limited company status).

As a result of the merger TLT has a forecast turnover of £48million, employs approximately 750 people, and has a UK-wide presence with offices in Bristol, London, Glasgow, Edinburgh and Belfast.
