TLT has been named as one of Europe's most innovative law firms by the Financial Times in its review of Innovative Lawyers 2008. TLT has been highly commended for its Marketing and PR for an event organised for a client and also for its Technology and Know-How for the firm's pensions extranet which has been described as "a groundbreaking resource for pension trustees". The FT's review is based on 600 submissions, 690 interviews and more than six months of research of law firms throughout Europe. 

In 2007, David Pester was named Managing Partner of the Year in the British Legal Awards. TLT was also a finalist in the Regional Firm of the Year and Employment, Pensions, Benefits and Tax Team of the Year categories. 

Also in 2007, TLT was highly commended for client service in the Financial Times' review of innovative law firms.

TLT was named Corporate Law Firm of the Year in the 2007 South West Deal Awards.
